This program is designed to address a wide range of spinal conditions, and it is covered by most medical aids from additional risk benefits.

Please note: Referred patients will only be absorbed into the spinal program, and not LowMed's individual medical care practitioner's patient lists.

How to Enroll for the Lowmed Spinal Programme:

Medscheme / Universal Medical Aids

(including Bonitas, GEMS, POLMED, Medshield, BankMed, KeyHealth, MediHelp, CompCare, TigerBrands, MassMart, ProfMed, FedHealth and others)

Contact your Medical aid, request authorisation for the DBC Back and Neck Conservative Programme.
Once authorised, make an appointment for an assessment at LowMed Spinal Centre (see contact details below).
Attend an Assessment session to determine 3- or 6-week programme. Start 3- or 6-week programme.

Bestmed Medical Aid

Make an appointment for assessment at LowMed Spinal Centre (see contact details below).
Send the motivation letter to medical aid and await authorisation.
Once authorised, Start 3- or 6-week programme.

Please note: If medical does not approve you for this programme, the assessment fee will be billed to the patient.

Savings / Private / Cash Rates

If the programme is not covered by your medical aid as a separate benefit, your savings can be utilised (medical aid rates will apply). Make an appointment at LowMed Spinal Centre (see contact details below) to start programme.
Alternatively, a cash fee per 1 hour session (30min physiotherapy / 30min biokinetics) will apply. Make an appointment at LowMed Spinal Centre (see contact details below) to start programme.
